Snapshots of Autumn

After the sweltering Montreal summers, I think that Autumn comes as something of a relief. There’s nothing like being able to wonder around the city in relative comfort, without feeling the need to duck into an air conditioned building.

I didn’t happen to get out as much as I would have liked, mainly because I was studying French (more on that experience in a future post). However, Autumn is one of Montreal’s most charming seasons.

There’s a concert hall nearby to where I work. It provides a nice view from Starbucks… if you can find a seat in there.

Looks like a Metro station in Paris doesn’t it?
That’s because the City of Paris donated their bizarre signage to the City of Montreal.

Storm clouds brewing over Montreal. Thankfully the storm never hit.

Now the leaves have fallen, there’s an unobstructed view from my bedroom to Downtown Montreal.
